How to Choose Healthy Dog Food. . .
In our opinion through our eductation, the best ratios for a healthy dog's diet are about 50% meat, 50% vegetables, grain-free, wheat-free, and no cheap fillers undefined.
Make sure proteins are in the ingredient list. The meal is the pre-cooked meat, which ensures that it will not reduce anymore during the cooking process. (It takes 5 pounds of the animal meat to make one pound of the animal meal.)
Grains can be a long-term source of energy and energy storage for dogs, but they can also be used as a cheap filler to boost the food's protein percentage. Watch out! Any grain you feed your dog should be used in whole form so that it supplies more fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The best grains for dogs (when used in the proper percentages) are rolled oats, barley, quinoa, millet, and brown rice. Often, low quality dog foods will list a meat ingredient first, which will be followed by several by-products and fillers. Look for these fillers in your food.

Their Approved Supplier Program ensures that ingredients have been tested by their suppliers and are secure and unadulterated until they are received at their plants. The ingredients are sampled and not unloaded until their own on-site testing labs can verify the safety and integrity of the received load. In process testing is also done at their labs to confirm their formulations are complying with guaranteed analysis as stated on our labels.
All of their packaged pet foods are sampled and tested by an outside lab for pathogenic bacteria. The product is held and cannot be shipped until lab results are obtained and the product is cleared. This is the final step that ensures that all of their pet foods are wholesome and unadulterated.
